Treated myself with a round of cleaning, filling and testing my WATERMAN 12. Just as I was finishing the sketch of Roman legionnaire, I noticed it was the very last blank paper in the block. As I’m used to jumping around the pages of my journals, it can happen that the one in the middle might actually be the last.
No big deal, I thought, there’s another blank block on my shelf. And then – DUH! Although the same, FABRIANO DISEGNO 200 gr, the new batch performed completely differently, forcing the ink to bleed horribly, like the block have been soaked for hours. Maybe it was, somewhere in the warehouse? Completely different experience. I know that ACCADEMIA is the entry level grade from FABRIANO, but my other blocks of DISEGNO have been great, as seen HERE or HERE, for example. What the hell happened here?
