BESSA ARRIVES

A new family member arrived, a VOIGTLANDER BESSA 6X9 folding medium format camera.

Apparently their exact age can be determined by the serial number on the lens but I have yet to find the precise listing (it was produced somewhere between 1931. and 1941.)

I’m quite intrigued if I will be able to produce some worthy images with it – the shutter fires, but I’m not sure if the speeds are really accurate after all those years.

It will be challenging but should be fun also. Crossing my fingers for the first roll.

After more than ten years since I shot film, I sure am quite rusty. But if this old lady can still work, I’ll try my best to follow.
